Norman Inventory

Fonnie Merle Hatfield Norman, Anderson and Polly’s great granddaughter, and her son, Thomas “Tom” E. Norman, completed an inventory (identified here as the Norman Inventory) and map of the AHMC in July 1976. The map drawn by Tom is brilliant in laying out the cemetery in sections.  This map is the basis of an updated map to show the location of graves on the AHMC.  In addition, the Norman Inventory includes numerous stories and notations about the individuals buried on the AHMC.  Fonnie and Tom identified the occupants of poorly marked graves creating a base of knowledge  that would otherwise be lost to succeeding generations.
